What is BIM?

Building Information Modelling (BIM) is a process of generating and managing, reliable & coordinated building design and construction documentation, within a data-rich virtual 3D model, which can be used throughout a project’s life cycle. A key point is that all design decisions, are recorded in a single database of information, that can be accessed by all project team members throughout the process.
